Jaka jest historia tego albumu? Pomysł na postawienie pierwszego samodzielnego kroku na mojej muzycznej drodze zrodził się kiedy miałam 17 lat. Rok później weszłam do studia i zaczęłam nagrywać swoje pierwsze kawałki, które miały znaleźć się na debiutanckiej płycie. Na tym etapie nie miałam jeszcze zespołu, a jedynie podstarzały, ale nieoceniony keybord Rolanda i program do tworzenia muzyki na komputerze na którym to tworzyłam pierwsze wersje utworów. Miałam jednak na tyle szczęścia, że otaczało mnie wielu wspaniałych ludzi i muzyków skłonnych do pomocy przy realizacji nagrań w studiu, jak również przy wydawnictwie płyty. Album „Wild At Heart” ma dla mnie ogromną wartość, ponieważ jest to zapis moich pierwszych, poważnych twórczych poszukiwań.
Jaki jest album „Wild At Heart” i o czym opowiada ? Moim zamiarem było ukazanie wachlarzu różnych emocji, które są dla mnie najistotniejsze w muzyce, bo sprawiają, że jest ona autentyczna. Obok melancholijnych, nastrojowych utworów opowiadających o pożądaniu, pasji, zatraceniu i miłości, znajdują się również takie, które w bardziej przewrotny sposób łączą wesoły charakter utworu z pewną refleksją na temat świata i wartości w nich obecnych. A wszystko to w oprawie żywych instrumentów i często akustycznych aranżacji.
„Wild At Heart” is Sara’s first album released in 2015.
What is the story of „Wild At Heart? I was 17 years old when the idea of recording an album emerged in my mind. One year later I was in the studio recording my first tracks. At that moment of my life I didn’t have a band nor did I have a whole production company behind me; only my piano, a rather old but nonetheless invaluable keyboard, and a software for recording music which enabled me to record first versions of my compositions. I would not be able to accomplish my goals if not for a bunch of precious and talented people who supported me and this crazy idea (and thank you for that! ). In 2015 my dream came true. With help from my friends and family I released my debut album entitled „Wild At Heart.
What „Wild At Heart” is about? The music I play doesn’t fit within the rigid framework of a single genre. It comprises melancholy, desire, hope, passion,delving into the self and a continual quest, but also fun filled with paradoxes. Above all, though, it is dictated by my heart and mind. Its authenticity is underlined by live instruments, acoustic sound, swelling vocal harmonies and a lyrical layer that is important to me. In my songs I wanted to grasp and illustrate specific emotions and situations that are reflected in my life. That’s why the music I write is often atmospheric, emotional. Despite this, the album includes plenty of songs of a more positive and lighter nature. That’s why I believe that everyone can find something special for themselves in my oeuvre.
What „Wild At Heart” means to me? This album is very special and important to me. There are many things that I would do differently today, but I also know that finding one’s path is not easy, people change. I am not the same as I was while writing music and lyrics for this album( I started when I was 17, now I’m 22). It takes time, courage and experience to trust and learn your instincts. „Wild At Heart” helped me define what I want to do next. Now I have a band of wonderful people who help me rearrange and articualte the music from my album in a completely new way so that the concert versions would be more genuine and powerful. We’re working on new songs, each one of them written with greater awarness, self-confidence and courage to express our creativity.
